WISEWOMAN PROGRAM


 

 

What is WISEWOMAN?
- WISEWOMAN is a cardiovascular screening & intervention program

Who can participate?
- Women between the ages of 40-64 who are enrolled in the BCCCP

What is the cost?
- It is a FREE service for those women enrolled in the BCCCP

What services are provided?
- Blood pressure, cholesterol, & glucose screenings
- Heart health assessment
- Referrals to a physician & for lab work if needed
- Lifestyle counseling
- Nutrition & physical activity classes
- Smoking cessation education and information

How do I enroll?
- When you enroll in the BCCCP, ask the clerk to sign you up for the WISEWOMAN program.
